About Us Alan Michaelis is president of ALCAR Multimedia. He is located in Virginia Beach, VA. Alan is a Mechanical Engineer who received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1969 and Master of Science degree in 1971 from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. In 1989 Alan combined career and hobbies and began shooting and editing industrial videos. In 1995 he began videotaping depositions and producing corporate multimedia presentations. He also incorporated ALCAR that year. In 2000 Alan combined his various skill sets and began providing litigation multimedia services to attorneys. Since then he has been involved in many high dollar and long duration trials both in Virginia and North Carolina. Alan won a national presentation design award in 2000 and is a professional engineer.
